Our son loved the classes here. As parents the experience was great because of coach Arya. He’s structured and pays attention to the kids level, recommends if they should move up a level, the class feels worth the cost because of him.

My son has taken both Soccer and Basketball classes here. Great experience with both sports!

Everybody’s having fun. Like… actual fun. Not the “smile for the photo while parents silently judge each other’s snack choices” kind. For what it is, this place is sweet and great. It’s an indoor sports center that somehow manages to bottle pure kid energy and aim it at something productive. They’ve got birthday parties (aka: two hours where your kid is thrilled and you don’t have to invent entertainment like a cruise director), plus indoor hockey and classes for hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and dodgeball. And when I say dodgeball, I mean the one sport where kids get to practice athleticism and revenge in the same drill. Beautiful. The vibe is upbeat, people are friendly, and everyone’s moving. You walk in and it’s like: kids sprinting, coaches coaching, parents pretending they’re not tired, and somebody definitely yelling “SHOOT!” from the sidelines like they’re in the NHL. If you want a place where your kid burns off energy, learns stuff, and comes home happily exhausted like a golden retriever… this is it.

I was invited to a friend's birthday party for the first time, and it wasn't bad. It was nice for the kids to run around and play, but it was so hot inside that they got tired quickly and were drenched in sweat. Even i just sitting still, I could feel how hot it was...

It breaks my heart to write this post. I've been with Santa Clarita Sports Center for three years and have witnessed its dramatic decline. Initially, the coaches were interactive and happily engaged with the kids, fostering a positive learning environment. However, after what seems to be a buyout by an out-of-state corporation, everything has changed. The center has turned into a giant daycare, with kids running around aimlessly and receiving no guidance. The new “coaches” stand around looking unhappy and disengaged, failing to teach the kids anything about sports. This transformation has been incredibly disappointing and disheartening to see.
